The article went on to say; “Even with a reduced force, city police have been able to carry out a recent drug warrant sweep involving Allegheny County Detectives.” In reality, it was the Allegheny County Police (numbering over 40) who carried out the drug warrants with the Duquesne Police (numbering about 4) tagging along.
The City also swore in three new officers. Although the article mentioned that all three have six months to secure residences in Duquesne, it did not mention that if one or more of the new officers gains favor with the mayor by marrying into the family, washing his car, buying his dinner, or just being his buddy, they will be exempt from the residency ordinance.

Let's please give the new controller a chance. There's enough problems that the city won't address for this site to capitalize on.
Regarding the drug sweep, I heard the recent one at Craig's Bar was done by State Police. Can your web site speak to these details?
And finally, I hope that someone here can dispel the notion that I'm involved in creating this web site. I'm a taxpayer, former planning commissioner and homeowner - and still a resident - who doesn't complain anonymously.
Thanks for stirring the pot, whoever you are. Hope all of your claims are substantiated.
Keep up the good work!
