Case Fixing? You Be the Judge

DDS has learned that the police chief's favorite past time of case fixing and screwing his own officers continues. It works like this: When an officer makes an arrest that goes to trial in county court, there is a subpoena list generated by the District Attorney's office. Witnesses on that list are sent a court subpoena demanding their attendance.
x
While every other police department in the county has to abide by these rules, it seems that there has been a long-standing practice in Duquesne where officers have been sent subpoenas but lefty decides as to who attends and who does not. So, in many cases, the DA commands an officer to be in court but lefty orders some cops to ignore an official court document. We heard that one Assistant District Attorney even asked "Who the hell does he (the chief) think he is?"
x
By the way: Apparently lefty has disciplined and even suspended officers for not appearing while under subpoena. (Of course his pets don't get into trouble). One has to wonder how many other subpoenas have been "lost" when one of "Chief Arrogant's" croonies have come to trial.

This also brings to surface the fact that the one offiver has to go back on disability and the other can sit on her a@# because she is a female and pregnant. Lets see who is playing the game. The city officials apparently.

Well I can see the sparks that are flying with the first comment that I posted. Well you can't play favorites, he has a right to work do you all know why he is not, yeah he got told to go home by the city. Try that shoe on, get hurt at work and the city f@#%S you. Maybe you all should get the facts before you start commenting. She shouldn't be allowed to work if the sergeant can't. What a way to run a city.

How would you like your wife or girlfriend having to risk her self and baby? Maternity provisions are made for a reason. Now, back to your real business please......

Guess that it is true, assume all comments come from males. Man the city and the readers are very sexist. The whole point is to make everything fair in the city, look at all they have done and maybe you will quit focusing just on one. Male/female they should all be equal but they are not in the damn city...soo everyone can vent because it is our freedom to do so. Just remember the city had no lite duty until the male officer was hurt, if that would never had happened no one would be able to be on lite duty.

I've been reading this blog for about 2 months and I am in agreement with it. 37 years in Duquesne and someone is finally speaking out. Question.....just how many police officers are on the force in Duquesne? (not counting those that might be undercover of course)

this practice still occurs as of October 2008
