The City of Duquesne is no longer the personal playground of the mayor, police chief and all of their cronies. The days of nepotism, corruption and illegal activity are coming to an end. OK........let's hear it. Glad to see another post. What I'd like to know is the exact relationship between some of the city's finest and the known drug dealers they seem to be buddy-buddy with. Are they waiting for information to get Mr. Big? Seems the small fry are not interesting enough, but they do drive some nice vehicles. All you have to do is follow the bouncing ball and it jumps from Duquesne to Pennsylvania Ave. in West Mifflin.

That is so true, but it probably willbe blocked. Hope everyone in the city realizes that the sergeant on the street is possibly checking out their daughters.
We can"t make the city do anything they don"t want to they promote as they see fit. Please , why don"t we put blame were it belongs on the city.
This week has been a week of pain and misery for me.
Can we all be kind to each other, we dont have to love each other to treat everyone with kindness ? I want to say there isn"t anything i would"nt do for my fellow officers. I care about each one of you. Whats important is that we all stick together ok i have learned alot from each one of you. Some of you have been very kind to me ofc hornyak, oberle thiem , ballou, kuks, mays, hill, gogo and sgts too dolansky, ebbitt sparks, shaw, burns over the years some of you have listened to my troubles and really cared i have learned something from all of you. Now learn something from me. Treat each other kind tell the people closest to you u love them never hold back the good things you could say to someone. I know some of you will look at this post if it gets posted and say oh well but until you lose someone and have many regrets dont knock what i am saying.
Im no one just someone who trys to do a good job.
Please be good to each other ok? I really care!

You're right in what should happen, Marcia. Unfortunately there are those who thrive on causing dissent and problems between others. It's a shame when the leadership of any organization allows this to happen but here we have the leadership itself causing the problems. Case in point: Lefty telling officers that they should have "Beat the shit out of Tyrone Michaels" because he called-off alot. The chief telling officers that they should physically assault one of their own?!?! This is good leadership??? But we should consider the source... after all this is a man who, a self proclaimed "family man" married for decades, gets one of his neighbors pregnant while telling others that certain people in his department have "no integrity!" Bottom line, my dear Marcia whose heart IS in the right place, the only thing people like lefty and stubby understand is the sting of the reality that there are those who aren't afraid of their deceit, their lies and dishonesty. The truth truely hurts!
I totally agree with the citizens. It is nice to see someone try to show concern, but they all have been through too much. It is time for the officers to stand together and be one, not be babies if they thinkg, oh no I might get fired if I say something. The city fired 2 officers wrongfully, had to hire them back, screwed over a vet for full time and now that is in the courts and has a sgt who resigned do to sleeping with an underage girl and now is working for the city again, stand up Marcia for your fellow officers as you so cry out and maybe then this will look as a uniformed department
True that the Duke has a child molester sergeant, but would you rather him check out little boys? He doesn't, that we know about....yet. Though has anyone checked his computer?
